Al Fresco Dining

Join us at Hotel du Vin this summer for some al fresco dining. There’s really nothing more delicious than the British summertime with warmer weather and longer days and of course seasonal food and drink to enjoy in the great outdoors. Fresh ingredients plus our inspired wine list, and a wonderful colourful collection of cocktails and summer pitchers, all of which have been designed to be enjoyed with friends and family.

Sharing Platters

Using an eclectic combination of flavours to enhance the fresh taste of these beautifully presented seafood platters for two, the acidity of the shallot vinegar along with buttery spicy and sweet flavours from the Bloody Mary, garlic butter and homemade mayonnaise work perfectly with the simple, fresh and carefully sourced ingredients. 


Whole Salcombe Cock crab, Cornish assured oysters, half a lobster, squid ceviche cured in lime juice and sugar and shell on prawns. Served with shallot vinegar, cocktail sauce, Bloody Mary ketchup, homemade mayonnaise, crisp peppers, red endive and a garnish of baby coriander.

LOBSTER 500g £35.00

A succulent whole lobster either grilled or poached. Accompanied by pommes frites, Altamura bread, garlic butter and homemade mayonnaise dips.


A charcuterie of Scotch egg, pork pie, sausage roll, duck rillettes, cold cuts, air-dried and cured meats, balsamic pickled onions, piccalilli, pancetta grissini and Altamura bread.


Roasted Normandy chicken infused with the citrus edge of Brewdog’s Elvis Juice IPA served with stuffing, peas, carrots, frites and jus.


Coconut panna cotta, meringue and pineapple sorbet.
